2026 Tesla Model Y White to Red

We started with a full decontamination wash and clay bar treatment to ensure a perfectly clean surface for adhesion. The Tesla's white paint had minor swirls and light oxidation, which we corrected before application to guarantee the PPF would bond properly and the colour would sit perfectly on the base. We then mapped out the installation in sections - bonnet, roof, doors, side panels, and rear - working methodically to avoid trapping air and dust particles underneath. The colour PPF we used has a premium adhesive backing with excellent self-healing properties, so minor scratches and light scuffs will disappear under heat or sunlight. Each seam was heat-treated to ensure durability and prevent lifting at the edges. The curves around the Tesla's door handles and window trim required precision cutting and careful stretching to maintain a factory-like appearance. We left the installation to cure for 24 hours before handing the car back, allowing the adhesive to fully set.

The transformation is striking. The pearl white is now a rich, vibrant red that catches light beautifully depending on the viewing angle. The colour depth and gloss are exceptional - it genuinely looks like a factory respray, but with the added benefit of paint protection. The owner gets a completely refreshed look while keeping the underlying white paint protected from UV damage, contamination, and minor scratches. This colour PPF will maintain its vibrancy for years with basic maintenance, and if they ever want to switch back, the original white paint is completely preserved underneath.
